A .85-amp, 2-speed motor features a low range output of 1,800 orbits per minute and a high range that runs at 3,200 orbits per minute. For a first time buffer user, I was pleased. The instructions were easy to follow and I did my SUV in about 20 minutes. There were some areas were I had to apply the wax by hand, but that will be the same with any buffer. Also, the cord is not that long, so make sure you have an extension cord. I only used the applicator bonnet and the wax removal bonnet, then went over the car with a microfiber cloth and it's mirror finsih glows!
