We keep our bench close to the spa and find it handy to store all sorts of things (extra towels, bottles of oil for the tiki lamps, etc.). It provides a handy spot to sit and put my sandals on after drying off. The wood matches our spa exterior and also the wooden towel stand, so it all looks harmonious. We don't keep the spa chemicals in there, since they need to be kept at a cooler temperature. It hasn't weathered at all, though we've had it four or five months already.
