This is the RG-6 version which is most common in long runs of cable like from the pole to your house or from a distant antenna to your house. RG-6 and RG-6 dual shield have very good loss characteristics and make long runs without loosing precious signal. The Paladin system is in use by many cable companies around the USA - I got the advice from an installer on what they used and he pointed me this way. Their tool is pricy, but it is a truly universal tool and will help you install TV antennas, cable extensions, RCA plugs, and even BNC connectors. I have not found a cable I can not crimp with the paladin system - even oddball links are easy to do like BNC to RCA with quad-shield RG6 cable! This tool and supplies are truly universal so long as you match the cable type to the connectors you use.
