I own it, I use it, but I don't particularly like it. That's not an indictment of Shindaiwa or Swisher either - it's a comment on this type of edger. Blade edgers do nothing more than cut a slot. They work best on walkway and curbing edges, but they also can easily chip the curb or walk edge. They are virtually useless as bed edgers where they really can only be recommended to keep an existing trimmed edge clean ... and where a string trimmer works just as well. Use with caution.
